    Hey everyone.
    I'm looking for a software to manage a network (20 to 30 machines I believe) that's freeware.
All machines (except mine) have two users (info and students) and just one of them has administrative rights (info).
The machines are located in a university room and the students use, or course, the students profile.
On a regular basis I need to update some software, defragment the hard disks, copy and delete files, etc and I need to go from computer to computer, logoff the students profile and logon the administrator profile, do what I need and logon/logoff again.
I need a software that would let me manage all that from my machine.
I believe I could use Windows Remote Assistance, but I don't kow if it would give me everything I need.
    Anyway, any hint is welcome.
    Thanx.

Try a Google search for VNC. I don't know if it's still around and/or free, but worth checking. It used to be really good.

Well, I know about VNC, but will it let me transfer files?
And I think it would not let me change users remotely.

I don't remember, that's why I suggested you do a search on it. I know it used to let you log out and log back in, so changing users shouldn't be an issue, and you should be able to map a drive to be able to transfer files if you can't do it within VNC.

    Hmmm cool.
I was typing from work, now I'm at home. It's easier to look for software here.
I didn't know VNC software would let me do that.
I'll try it tomorrow on the lab.
    Thanx gadgetguy and Soopafresh.
