I want to change my avatar, but since this forum doesn't allow size bigger than 10kb I need to re-size my new avatar from 32kb down to 10 or less. It is really hard to do it since the avatar have 69 layers (BTW why not change rules and allow little bit bigger avatars)
Anyways I can't manage to save it using GIMP 2 as PNG format. I have to flatten layers in order to do that, but than avatar won't be animated

All right, not bad, although this one only have 21 layers it is a full version of the original avatar with 69 layers, good job 8)

If you open IE 6.0 instead of FF you will see that all of them are moving. I am not sure why FF only recognize the last one.
If avatar size would be increased to 35kb I could use original.moved to another forum, nobody likes me here... -
Here I got from GIMP Help:

AFAIK there is no such thing as animated png, there is new animated format based on png. Neither IE or Firefox have support for this.
They do however support a .gif renamed as .png .Or even .jpg like this one. Note there is also no such thing as animated .jpg.

There is a little bit about PNG and IE:

It's packaged with their image editing program and hasn't been updated for years. You can usually pick an older version of the image editor up on sale for less than what they are selling the animator for alone online. :P
