Trying to find a program I once had to increase volume on a audio file

can someone here enlighten me on the name of a program I once had to increase volume on a audio file I think it begins with G not sure now but Will know when I see the word. or if not can anyone reccomend such a program

Ok will try to remember about title next time and yes it was goldwave, but I have downloaded audio city and cant seem to find where you increase volume

In Audacity, 'Edit>Select All, Effect>Amplify' then save it.
