  1. Does Nandub support dual processors? When I use it the max cpu usage I get from either processor is 50%. What other encoding tools support dual processors besides TMPGEnc?

  2. I don't use Nandub, but from what you wrote it appears that it doesn't have SMP support.

    Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Photoshop - those are the other programs that I use that support multiple processors. And Quake 3 does, too.

    Because AMD is making multiprocessor systems affordable for home users, expect to see many more programs in the next few years that make use of dual processors.

  3. There have been cheap P3 and Celeron motherboards on the market for years and there's still very few SMP enabled apps. I doubt AMD(with less then half of Intels marketshare)is going to change that with motherboards that start at $200.
