    Hey There,
I have some content that I would like to convert to H.264 for playback on my iPhone, it is considered AVI Divx by ffmpegx right now. When I try to convert using any of the h.264 presets such as iPod h.264 320 or 640 or any of the other h.264 presets all I get when I convert is an output file that has a white screen and no content. I was attempting to use h.264 because of the relatively small file size and good image quality. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

Apologies. I hadn't paid sufficient attention to what you had actually written.
x264.exe is just an apparently-decent CLI h264 encoder.
But you are right, it's no use on a Macintosh.

P.S.: BTW, the MP4s that iPhone is able to play back are
    100% MPEG4-compliant, or simply MPEG-4-derived?

Since you are asking about Mac software, this would be better in our Mac Forum. Moving you.

what software are you using on the mac to do this?
    iSquint? Visual Hub? or ffmpegx?
Most of us use for mpeg-4 with h.264 encoding use
Visual Hub, which seems to be better than ffmpegx
as far as in terms of playback compatibility.
