  1. Hello All,

    I've been converting AVIs to VCD-ready MPGs for a while, but this is the first time I've encountered something like this. I normally use TMPGenc, but I tried to convert this AVI with it and the program would FREEZE. Do absolutely nothing. So, I tried another program, AVI2VCD, and I got an error message that said something like this:

    "Could not open video source file -- you may not have a codec or DirectShow filter for this type of video file!"

    Um...help?! Please.... TIA!!!!

  2. in TMPGE try to increase the Directshow plugin and see if that helps...

  4. Go to options, enviormental setting, VFAPI settings...right click and choose increase until it gets to 1.
