Im using VSRip to get the subs of a dvd.I have tried 2 times and have allocated 2 save positions.When VSRip has fineshed the idx and sub are not saved to where i allocated them to.Where have they gone.I noticed reading up on it in the tool section someone else had the prioblem,but i dont know if it has been answered.Any help would be greatfuly accepted.Or possibly a different tool for the job.

Not familiar with the tool, but the first place I would look is the programs folder in your boot drive 'Program files'. If not, just do a search for the file with Windows. The other possibility is your documents folder. But the program should tell you where it put them or offer alternative locations.

There are stored where you designate (you know, your "Save To..." location).
If you're not seeing any .idx or .sub files, perhaps you haven't selected the correct subpicture stream, or there are no subs on your DVD.
I use this program all the time, but for mainly ripping Closed Captions. I always have to delete the .idx, etc, files. Every file is placed in your "Save To..." location.ICBM target coordinates:

Thanks guys...it seems to have worked to the save location now.I dont understand why it did not on the 2 previous occasions.Noob error i expect
