Hello can anyone help me.I have just bought the above,it comes with a remote control which allows you to watch your videos, photos on the tv.The videos I have transferred to the hard drive are all home videos, taken on a camcorder, transferred to dvd using a dvd recorder.I have then put the dvd files onto my computer and dragged and dropped them onto the external hard drive.I have one problem, which affects all the films. When I play them back on the tv(via the pikaone flycase.)The films are all about 2-4gb in size.the first part VTS-01-1 has no sound. All the others do.This problem does not happen when i play the files back on my computer (via the pikaone)Someone else posted this very problem on this site.He resolved the problem, but i dont understand how.I think it was something to do with the pikaone not supporting AC3 audio. If you google pikaone flycase tv , his is the 3rd link down. His name was roystheboy and he was helped by ChrissyBoy. If anyone can help I would be very grateful,Im losing my hair rapidly.Thankyou PS i am an absolute novice to this part of computing,if you reply please use idiots language

You're probably right about the AC3. From their site:
Audio: MP3 • WMA • WAV (PCM and ADPCM Microsoft)
Unless you really need the DVD format, menus, chapters, extras, you might want to convert to other formats. That device doesn't really seem to be for DVD videos.

With those audio selections, I would convert your DVD files to Xvid or Divx and MP3 audio with something like AutoGK or similar. They would take up a lot less space also.

A little quicker method would be to extract the video MPEG-2 file from the DVD with a program like VOB2MPG and then convert the audio to WAV. But WAV takes up a lot of space.

    And welcome to our forums.
