    Hi I just got a movie file (.avi) with subtitles .srt and I followed the directions with the

    Options - Playback - Output and then putting it to VMR9 in direct show. Then what do I do to add the subtitles, I read somewhere that I have to right click the screen - Navigate and go to subtitle language, but it's all greyed our for me. Can someone help?

    For good and troublefree subtitle support, use KMPlayer or GOM player.

    Try Gabest's Vsfilter.dll v. 2.33.
    It has always worked fine for me ^_^

    File > Load Subtitle...
