Got a 512x384 video I want to force Premiere Pro to resize to the 720x480 template in which I've been editing it. I'm sure there's a way, but PPro's help file doesn't make it easy to find. Any takers? ;p

Put the video on the timeline and go to the Sequence window. You should see a 720 x 480 rectangle and your video centered in it. The video should have an outline with handles to let you change the size. Drag each corner into the corresponding 720 x 480 corner. It should snap.
You ideally need to do this before editing so that the scaling will apply to all the new clips once you start cutting etc. If you already have multiple clips, select the entire track and then do the scaling. If that fails, apply the scaling to one clip, copy the clip (Ctrl-C or right click/Copy), select all the clips and Paste Attributes.
I can't access my PPro right now, so the above is from memory. There may be another way, such as reinterpreting the footage, but I'm not sure.
BTW - I agree about the documentation - it's dreadful.John Miller -
Awesome. Will get right to it once I'm back at my pc. Great thanks!
