I have a dodgy USB socket on this PC.
I never thought a PC could mess a memory stick up, up until today.
I scanned my memory stick in Easy Recovery to find loads of bad I/O Sectors.
There MUST be a way to fix this.
I have tried CHKDSK, Spinrite, Diskeeper and of course Easy Recovery.
    No luck.
    What do i do now?

    It's crazy.

    Many Thanks.

But even that doesn't work though.
I still get bad sector errors with easy recovery :S
    This is what is bizarre.

pretty weird. i use them all the time and haven't had any bad luck yet. try re-formatting that one on a different computer and if it still has errors try sending it back as defective, otherwise all you have there is an odd shaped keyfob.
