If you haven't already, you need to display the file extensions:
* Double-click on My Computer.
* Click Tools then Folder Options.
* Click on the View tab.
* Uncheck "Hide file extensions for known file types."
* Click Apply then OK.

Drop one of them into GSPOT 2.70. They are probably VCD or even Xvid files. Either way, some conversion would be needed to put them on a DVD. You might try ConvertXToDVD. It does well at converting most formats to a standard DVD. I'm assuming inside that 'CD1' is some sort of video file.
But the type of file needed is a DVD compliant one. See 'WHAT IS' DVD to the upper left on this page for the DVD specification and format. -
Do you mean DVD Flick? It's a freeware DVD converter. I haven't tried it, but it should work ConvertXToDVD generally does the best job for conversion for all-in-one converters, though.
You might also download the freeware ImgBurn to burn the VIDEO_TS folders that the converters produce to DVD disc. What you probably have there is a Xvid of one half a video. I assume there is a CD2 file also. I would watch out for MP3 VBR audio which is common on those type of files. It can cause sync problems with most converters. Gspot would tell you if it's VBR in it's audio section. -
