Hi
Can anybody help? I want to edit a DVD-Video in my editing software, Edius 4, DVD-Video contain 3 Vob files, VTS_01_0 is menu, VTS_01_1 is first part of movie that is about 17 minutes and VTS_01_2 is second part and 13 minutes, entire time of DVD-Video is about 30 minutes.
At first I copied VIDEO_TS in my hard disk and imported them in Edius but when I tried to play them I noticed first vob wouldn’t play so I thought it is because of protection so I ripped DVD-Video by DVD Decrypter and again imported them in Edius but result was like before, I just could play second vob file, (VTS_01_2), first vob file would not play and it just show one black frame and sometime green frame,
again I ripped DVD by AnyDVD software but didn’t help, result was the same.
Well, in last try I imported them in MPEG Video Wizard application, result was good and I could play all the video in MVW but because I want to edit them and Edius has more features so I prefer to work on it in Edius.
Now I want to know if anybody here could help me and give me a solution.
And also I want to know about this problem, if this DVD-video has protection why MPEG Video Wizard could play it? (I imported ripped files and original files and both work in MVW).and why DVD Decrypter and AnyDVD couldn’t rip it?
I appreciate any idea in advance.
Sean
