I think it is a funny with Windows Installer... Can you move the setup and msi file to the root folder and retry?

I knew you were out there ChrissyBoy!

I tried installing it from c:\ like you suggested and I received exactly the same message.

Like i said i have seen this before and it is a MSI weird one.... (http://www.google.co.uk/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4GGLJ_enGB227GB227&q=...c%22+installer)

    But i found this:

open a Command Prompt and cd to the folder where you saved the downloaded Setup_WindSim.msi file. Run the msiexec program as follows: msiexec /qb /I Setup_WindSim.msi
replacing the name of the msi file - can you give this a try?

I ran "msiexec /qb /I c:\VOB2MPGSetup.msi" from the command line and worked!

I have never had this problem before and I install/test/uninstall many programs over the years.

Thanks for your help ChrissyBoy. You always come through!
