  1. so l bought a second handed 40G hard disk with windows 2000 in it, l use my windows 2000 disc to remove the petitation and then l use my windows me startup floppy disc to format it and tried to install a new copy of windows me, nothing is wrong in the scandisc before the installation, but at the begining of the installation a windows show up telling me that it cant be installed because something about windows nt which l cant remember clearly, so l tried to install it again, but this time the scandisc scaned so many broken things that l am tired of holding down my finger on the F button to fix it. same error happened several times to my old 40G hard disk when l tried to install windows me until it was so broken that the scandisk dont allow me to install it anymore, but l can install windows me in my 10G hard disk without any problem, anyone?

Grab delpart to remove nt partition , or the hard drives manufacturers "new install" utility .

    Fdisk can handle it .

Your disc(s) will need to be formatted for FAT32 in order to run ME.

Just get the setup disc from the HDD manufacturers website.
