    * note, I just realized someone posted a similar question. But I was already
typing this out and it might be different. Anyway.

So they got Routers for cable modems, where you can share one modem with
multiple computers in one's house. I was thinking along the same idea, but
    with mem sticks.

I'm using 1-gig mem (flash, or whatever) sticks between both systems.

Ok. Really domb question, but still, I was wondering. Because, now I'm getting
a little tired of swapping in/out my mem stick between my WIN98 and XP Home.
I don't want to a network setup. Both my pc's can do this since they have LAN
support, but I don't want to activiate it, especially on my WIN98 system. Had
too many bad episode with this (LAN) on them and Interneting.

Otherwise, I'll continue to put up with it.

Google for "virtual USB" software - I downloaded some ages ago but never got around to trying it out. It suppose to let you "share" a USB port on a master machine (like a shared folder or printer) that you connect to from the remote machine. The driver on the remote makes a "virtual" USB port that gets all it's info from whatever's plugged into the master - viola!
