Hello
I am trying, without success to purchase a new camcorder which needs to meet the following requirements (which admittedly are not normal to most people buying camcorders)
* it must have a progressive 25fps mode
* PAL camera
* be able to output analogue video, while running off mains, and on a tripod
* Cost, 500 to 1000 Euro
I have a Canon (MV30ie) which can do this, and after doing some searches, have found the following sony cameras (which inconveniently are no longer manufactured it seems)
* DCR - HC85E
* DCR - HC90E
* DCR - HC94E [Uses docking station for a/v out and power from mains]
* DCR - HC96E [Uses docking station for a/v out and power from mains]
* DCR - PC350E
* DCR - PC1000E
Unfortunately, the newer models (which I could get hold of with difficulty) both have a docking station, which means they will not work for my application. And the other ones are older, so I can't get hold of them.
So my question is, does anyone know of where I can get a camera which meets my specifications / what models?
I have struggled to find out about progressive modes on brands other than Sony.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
