    hi, i want to compress some movies that i have as .iso files, to save some space, im not going to burn them for a while, which format should i use, 7z, zip, or rar

  3. ISO images of movie DVDs will not compress by much.

    Usually 7z compresses the most, followed by rar with zip in last. As said though I wouldn't expect much of a gain and compressing a ~4GB file could take some time.

    You are talking small degrees of compression in comparison to each other. If you must store ISOs, buy a big external drive. Either that, or burn them to disc or re-encode using a better video compression method.
