Hi, New member here.

My operating system is vista home premium.

I bought a Sony DCR-DVD108 camcorder that uses the 8cm DVD+RW discs. They don't record but 30min on each disc and so I want to transfer all of the video on the three 8cm DVD+RW discs to one 12cm DVD+RW disc. I have tried everything I can think of to tranfer all the video, but it won't work. My DVD player (xbox360) will play all the 8cm discs individually right out of the camcorder just fine.

I tried using the supplied DVD copier software from Sony, but it wont let me burn more than one 8cm on a 12cm. It says that I have to erase the data that I copied from the first 8cm disc that's there in order for it to burn more data. It finalizes the 12cm DVD+RW or something when I get through burning the first disc. There is no option after burning to leave the session open.

I have just about wasted my weekend on this damn digital crap and really need your help on combining all of these on one disc so that all the video will play continuously on a 12cm DVD+RW on my Xbox360.

I know that I'm overcomplication this procedure, but making videos and copying them should have been as easy as the analog VHS days. What am I doing wrong?

I only have a single Sony DVD burner on my computer. What is the easiest way to combine these 8cm +RW's on a 12cm +RW?

Thanks in advance
