  1. Hi! I was just wondering is it possible to burn my DVD Videos in the DVD-ROM(UDF)format? Will they still play on a regular dvd player? Thanks! Sorry, I almost forgot I am using the Newest Version of Nero!

Use imgburn instead. Much better than Nero. Burn to DVD+R and use bitsetting and your player will see it as DVD-ROM.

  3. I use DVD-R, also I have had terrible luck with ImgBurn. Lots of playback issues like skipping and such! Thanks though!

Skipping is usually poor media or media compatibility with your burner. You cannot make DVD-R look like DVD-ROM.

  5. I have the problem with 3-4 Different Burners and the media is Tayo Yuden(Sp?). I was just wondering if it is possible to have them recognized in a DVD Player, cuz it gives me the option in Nero. Thanks for all the help!

DVD uses UDF by default - usually UDF and ISO. Your DVD player will recognise them if they are burned as DVD Video. Nero has a DVD Video template to do just this. However they won't look like DVD-ROM, they will look like DVD-R. If you want the player to think it is a DVD-ROM then you have to use a technique called BitSetting, which is only available on DVD+R discs.

  7. I dont want the player to think anything. I was just wondering if I could use the DVD-ROM UDF setting and they would still work!

If you are going to use Nero, use the DVD Video template - that's what it is there for.
