    I,ve read this befor can not find it now. have been making vcds and want to try svcd I know they take more space on a cdr but what is the max amount of time you can burn on a cdr in svcd format

    It depends on the total bitrate (video, audio, bmp subs, menus).
    Use a calculator from the tool section. ShiZZZon swears, he can fit 2 hours on a SVCD, I think 1 hour is the limit.
