So you used NeroVision to convert the avi file, then burned it to DVD.

    1. Did you test the DVD NeroVision created to see if it works from your HDD, before burning ?

    2. What brand of media did you use ? What is the media ID ?

    3. Have you tried burning with imgburn - a far superior DVD Video burning application ?

Yes use IMGBurn, it has test mode before burning..as guns asked what media? But IMO, I would scratch/not use NV for avi to DVD, try DVDFlick or ConvertxtoDVD, better solutions, again IMO.....good luck!

Why not ? Most of Nero is un-necessary.

Putting Nero to one side, you could try

ConvertXtoDVD (payware - arguably best of the one-click-wonders)
    DVD Flick (free)
    FAVC (free)

Always burn DVD Video with Imgburn in preference to Nero. Much better tool.

Mode -> Build. Open the Video_ts folder. Imgburn will know what to do.

Look under the Help Menu for the Imgburn forum and you will find several guides on how to get the best out of imgburn.
