    Hi,

I've had a good look around, so apologies if this has been answered many times before.

I'm just hoping there's a way to use the PostProcessing section of ProjectX to append a "DEMUXED" extension to my source file after it has been through the demuxing process. As far as I can tell, the PostProcess only passes the output on for further processing - is there a way I can refer back to the source file and run a simple batch file to rename it?

    Many thanks,
    Laurence.

I don't know if that'll work, since the file you wish to rename is loaded in the program. I suspect it'll fail because the file is open. I have seen a little tutorial on the command structure with the post processing choice, perhaps it'll give you some ideas. Lemme look around and I'll post the url when I find it.

Edit - I think it is this:

Thanks for the link Soopafresh. I picked up some new batch-file tricks, but I think you're right about the file being open in ProjectX, and so couldn't be renamed.

I guess it depends on how ProjectX handles the PostProcesses, because I found that while I can't rename the source while it's demuxing, I can manually rename it when it's finished and with ProjectX still open.

    Thanks,
    Laurence.
