I have followed the guide for svcd foolproof way with cinema craft encoder. Everything seems fine until I run the pulldown.exe from the dos prompt. I do everything correct acording to the screen. When I have everything set and push enter it says bad file name or something. Any advice would be good or is there another program I can use. I need this to convert the film 23.976 to 29.97. Is there another program I can use. Thanks for any input

hmm, this may sound stupid, but are you sure you typed in the filename/directory correctly and/or been in the directory with your pulldown.exe when you typed in the command?
from what it seems, this is the only thing that i can see that may be wrong. pulldown itself is a very option-limited program... also, note that it defaults to 24fps -> 30fps. so unless needed, i wouldn't use any option-switches.
ie. just "pulldown 24fpsfile.m2v 30fpsfile.m2v"
