Every time I launch ffmpegX the "ffmpegX components installer" screen is displayed indicating that mpeg2enc is either missing or out of date. This file has been downloaded from the recommended link (mpeg.sourceforge.net/MacOS/mpeg2enc.intel). This may be my problem as it implies its for intel processors and I have a Mac Mini running on a PowerPC processor. However, I cannot find a PowerPC version. The file used has a date of 2/Sept/03.
Any suggestions or advice out there?

The file says intel but it works okay on a ppc, too. The page http://mjpeg.sourceforge.net/MacOS/
has the link to 'save as" for the universal binary.
