  1. I have been trying to figure this out for about a week now and I am stuck. Currently I can rip the DVD with SmartRipper into 4 .vob files, no problem there. Next I use DVD2AVI to turn the VOB file into a .D2V file, no problems, I open VirtualDub and use the VobSub plug-in to make the subtittle file, after that I have no idea as what to do, I have looked at the guides on this page and others in the links section of this page, doom9 is the closest thing to what i need but it is not a guide on hardcoding the sub.

Its not the fall that kills you, its the sudden stop at the end.

  4. I followed the guides on doom9. worked for me.
Subtitles with VOBSUB will work for full and complete rips only.
After you rip and have your .d2v files ready, open your vfapi AVI file in VirtualDub.
Load the Vobsub filter. For best results, use the IFO file on your DVD drive. You may need to authenticate your DVD drive before starting (run DVD Decrypter or start your main movie in your DVD player and pause it).
Follow the vobsub instructions and create your Index file along with .IFO and .SUB files on the drive/folder you specified - may take a while.
Thats it. You can open the newly created IFO file for future. Change the vobsub filter settings as desired by you.
