Divx MPEG4 Low Motion
Divx MPEG4 Fast Motion
Microsft MPEG4 Video Codec V1
Microsft MPEG4 Video Codec V2
Microsft MPEG4 Video Codec V3
Divx Codec 4.12

For best resolution avi file which one should I use. Can also someone please describe them. Thanks in advance

As usual with these things you will probably have to try a little clip encoded with each one to see what looks best for you.
I found the microsoft ones weren't as good. The Div-x 4.12 was not as good as the older versions (but there are posts from people which say it is better). Found the low motion was better then fast motion, especially for action films (I know it seems a contradiction doesn't it)
