I followed the foolproof guide here and while I'm using virtualdub for frameserving, cce crashes when I try to add the vdr file.
I've tried all os compatibilty modes, since I'm running win xp.
Someone talked about a folder named AVIPROXY, well I have that folder, only problem is that it's completely empty!
Should I download a patch or something or can I use TMPEG only to resize and frameserve and then export the file to CCE 2.50?
Any help is appreciated.

Well VirtualDub 1.4.8 came without the proxy reg files. Just copy the aviproxy dir from a previous version (1.4.7)
You could resize with TMPG and frameserve with VFAPI, but for better filter support I suggest to try it with Vdub once again. -
Don't forget to frameserve audio...if U don't then CCE will crash in XP when U try to add athe frameserved file...once the file is loaded U do not have to encode the audio in CCE (just turn it of) but CCE will work like a dream....
