mkv to xbox360 compliant .mp4

Hi I have downloaded some movies samples in mkv format and would like an easy method of changing the container to .mp4 and audio to stereo. I have been using river past video cleaner but it take about an hour for a six minute trailer. Is ther an easier method? Ive tried mkv extract but am not sure how to make it xbox360 compliant, is there a guide anywhere or can someone point me in the right direction.. thanks
