Hello all,
It has been a while since I've been here, and I've had an issue occur with my capturing. For some strange reason, out of the blue, my captures have been giving me vertical lines. Even when I play back the VHS tape, and I watch the tape on the computer, it still gives me vertical lines. Both of my VCR's are doing this for me.
I am assuming that there is some sort of interference going on, but for the life of me I cannot understand why all of a sudden this is happening. I have an ATI 9000 AIW, XP SP2, and the VCR is a Memorex running composite through a TBC-1000. I thought it may have been the composite, but a second try on my other VCR through S-Video produces the same vertical lines.
Just a note, the vertical lines are not on the footage, and do not appear while played through my downstairs VCR (Memorex).
Any starting steps before I go mad? Would a movement of the card inside the CPU help?
Thanks in advance!
