    After downloading a divx movie from kazaa, the dat should become a (avi), but does not change. The download window shows the download it complete but their dat has not changes to avid.

    Why has this happen any one know?

    Probably just a program error, never had it happen to me. Have you tried just renaming the file yourself?

    Go here and have a look at this.

    This is for morpheus and it is an enhancer that looks for more sources every 5 minutes.

    It will work for Kazaa as well but the point is when you are there there is a section on DAT Repair and a free tool to do it with.

    Also try reinstalling your kazaa software.
