  1. AMD1G Ath. Asus A7v, 512 mem. AIW pro 128AGP, 20G HD. Unhappy with recorded image of TV programs using ATI vcr software. Thought PowerVCRII would have better quality. Installed fine, TV tuner works fine. When pushing record button on VCRII, get the following error message: S0027: Unable to start capture graph. Opinions?

  2. Have you downloaded the lastest patch from the web site?, I had the same problem until I installed that.

  3. Thanks for the reply, and, no I hadn't gotten the latest patch. I will head there right away and check on this. Do you recall the patch name? I recall looking in Cyberlinks tech help patch files, and I remember most of them seemed to say the patches were to upgrade PowerVCRII to work with XP. Scott

  4. Yep it was the XP one, I was pulling my hair out and was willing to try anything to get it to work.

I have windows2000, another computer also running windows 98 also needed the same patch, to get rid of the graph error, so it should work with any op system

  5. I got the patch and installed it. Seems to work, at least it records now. But, when using the MPEG2 recording mode, the picture on playback is miniature. The overall size of the picturte is tiny, and it's cutting off all but the center of the image. I've tried playback on both versions of Media player and Power DVD, and the tiny picture is the same in all 3. On MPEG1, the picture is correct size. I'm messing with some of the settings to try to fix this. My machine definately has the horse power to handle MPEG2. Did you have the same problem? Scott
