DVDWS2, like most other authoring software, sets button navigation based on where the object is on the page. If you're sequentially laying out buttons, then it's usually perfectly fine. I have DVD ReMake Pro for the few times per year I might want to customize the button directional control. It only takes a few minutes.
DVDWS2 is better than DVD-A and DVD-LP because it's easy to use for people of all experience levels. You can learn it within 5-10 minutes. Better productivity. You can whip through a project in as little as 2 minutes because of the interface.
The future is not important. Vista, HD discs, future of the company, nukes blowing up the world ... pointless conversation, complete unknown. I live in the here and now, and address current needs.
It's nice to know folks like you are always looking forward to what comes next. But that's not what I'm about. And it's not what the original poster requested.
