Ok so this has been a problem for the couple days. It worked fine and then all of the sudden it won't burn onto DVD-R. I bought a new comp for it and still the same. Anyone have any ideas? I got a 1x5, the DVD drives are NEC and I have tryed changing the source drive and still the same... ANYONE HAVE ANY CLUES? This is making me mad I bought 7 packs of DVD-R and now I can't burn on them.

When I put the disc in and the DVD-R and press copy, it says 0% and it won't even start it just tells me 0 good 1 failed. Why is it doing this anyone know?

The system is Fujitsu 29LV160B Ver 1.38

Could be any number of issues. What is the make and model of the duplicator? The info above doesn't help.

Typically, when something is working fine...and then doesn't, somehting changed and/or failed.

    Welcome .

But those nec's , would be out the window if they were anywhere near myself .

    Strange method there ?

It was working , then not ... ok , can relate
But to go get a new pc really dosent help the problem ... not in my books .

    ----

Ok your new ... but what was the disc you shoved into it ... home burnt or commercial

    ----

Dvd duplicators are a right pain in the ... when they dont work , so thats what you need to be looking at where fault is .

I'd say its a possibility there is an issue with the drive that dose the reading , not the others ... replace it .
But before that , I'd suggest you might want to replace the cable connecting the drives in the duplicator ... they can fail .
It's power supply could have developed a fault ... it's on some form of power protection like a ups .

Beyond this , without the true ident of the unit involved , cant go further .

Mine says on the box :

This product does not duplicate DVD discs of copyrighted movies ...

    Ah ... crap .

It's most likely the problem afflicting many NEC drives inclduing my NEC 3520A. See http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=209168 for more details on this issue. I avoid NEC drives now for that very reason.
