I would say "no". It doesn't appear to do anything new. There are other tools that are less expensive and some that are free that do the same thing. There are no credible third-party reviews on the web for this software. You want to pay for the privilege of being a guinea pig? Go right ahead. I can think of at least 6 other anti-malware programs I would use before even considering this one.

I use AVG antivirus http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/ , SpyBot S&D, http://www.safer-networking.org/ and Spyware Blaster http://www.javacoolsoftware.com/spywareblaster.html and have few problems. All freeware. You can also do a online scan for virus/spyware with Trend Micro http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ , also free. DO NOT download any of this software from any site other than the official ones I listed. There are fake ones out there.

Finally, if you really think you have a trojan, you might also try HiJack This. It finds most trojans and gives you a way to destroy them. http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/programs.php It's very powerful, so be careful. It can do major damage to your OS if used improperly.

You have to be careful with getting antivirus, antitrojan software off the net. There are a lot of tojans out there that pretend to be a antitrojan program.

I have used this in the past and it missed some trojans that nod32 found. So why use a specalty scanner when most good antivirus work on trojans too. I use nod 32 antivirus and webroot spysweeper and i can't tell you the last time i had an infection. It's been years.

  9. AVG also has a Anti Rootkt available. I steer clear of unknown Malware removers. Too many as was mentioned above are Trojan installers. Or the "Free" version will detect and ask for money if you want to clean what it founds. Many of those will also make what they find seem more serious than they really are. Some even include false positives to pressure you.

You may or may be surprised how many computers come in for repair at work that have Payware to clean "Free" Antispyware.

It seems that the first thing that happens when a user finds a Trojan they start looking for free and add to their problems.

SpySweeper and AVG Antispyware both protect as well as clean. Spybot Search and Destroy or Adaware only clean, Better to prevent in the first place.

I'm running Either Norton or AVG Internet Security as well as SpySweeper. Better safe than sorry.

Trojan Remover 6, Never used it. If you get dire3ct from the author site is most likely safe. If it comes from a torrent cracked or with a crack. Than you can sure it is infected.

Best one I saw was someone with a older version of Norton AV a couple of years ago that had a keygen. The best part was the keygen, as most if not all are, was a trojan horse installer. Brilliant, infect the cheapskates when they think they are protecting themselves.

    Good Luck
