I have onboard video so I was wondering. If I got a video card with tv out does that mean that anything that plays through media player will play out to a tv? I ask this because I recently downloaded a movie in vcd format (mpeg 1 25fps 1750 kbps 352 x 240) that plays fine on the computer. On the other hand when played in my Apex 500w I experience audio synch problems. It comes and goes. And it's not only my Apex but my friend has another brand DVD player (off brand I'm not sure what it was) and it does the same thing. I burned it several times at varying speeds with different cdr media with the same result. So........ if I could play it to a vcr or something then I could eliminate this annoying problem.
Thanks

If you added a video card to your system with TV out...and assuming that you aren't trying to use multiple monitors (which on a Mac is dirt simple, on a PC not always so)...you would have a mirror image of your monitor image on your TV (in most cases). With some so called "dual-head" cards, such as the GeForce2 MX or some Matrox cards, you would have the option to display seperate pictures. So yes, you could display media player on your TV and record it to a VCR.
