I'm trying to convert a DVD ('V for Vendetta') to DivX.

    The steps I follow are:
    - Rip the DVD on the HD with DVDFab HD Decrypter 3.1.3.2.
    - Open AutoGK.
    - Set the Input (IFO) and Output (avi) files.
    - Check the 'Audio track' and no subtitles.
    - Select the 'Target quality' percentage (75%).
    - In the 'Advanced Options' dialog I left 'Auto width' for output resolution, set CBR MP3 at 192 kbps, select DivX and left unchecked all the subtitle options.
    - In the 'Hidden Options' dialog i check the '.autocrop' option and set the threshold to 0 to set off cropping.

Everything works fine on my home pc, but on the office pc I get the following error during the VirtualDubMod phase:
'The source image format is not acceptable. (error code -2)'

If I use Xvid everything works fine on both machines.
That drive me to the conclusion that something goes wrong with the Divx settings.
So I've checked the settings when I got the error and found the profile set to 'qMobile Profile', not the right choice of course.
If I load the AviSynth script that AutoGK generate in VirtualDubMod and try to save the avi file with the same wrong DivX settings I get the same error, but if I change the Divx profile setting to 'Home Theater Profile'...it magically works fine!

How do I set the right DivX profile setting during the AutoGK's VirtualDubMod phase?

    Thank you

    Marco

It's probably because of the divx version, older versions or maybe the newest may not work that well with latest AutoGK.

What version of divx are you using?

    AutoGK version is 2.40.
DivX version is the latest, 6.6.1.
I've also tried with older DivX version 6.5, but the problem persists.

And why it works on a machine and not on another with the same (AutoGK and DivX) software versions?

Does it depends on the CPU, or the amount of memory, or some other HW?
