What does this mean in practice: "Creating High Quality Subtitles" ?
This tool has been mentioned here before. I tested a demo and I was not impressed at all.
It costs $175 US and offers just a bit more which is not found in freeware tools.
It has advanced options to create subpictures and export to Premiere, Adobe, DVD Maestro...
Maybe a pro subtitler could benefit of such options, I wouldn't know because I do not use those DVD authoring tools. -
Hi....
"and offers just a bit more which is not found in freeware tools."
Some features are very interesting, specially if you need to deal with professional subtitle creation and can't find them in freeware field, unfortunatelly.
"Maybe a pro subtitler" .
And it's exactly what I want to look for and test in some professional program features that freewares can't handle properly.
I have tested the most subtitling freewares programs around and wanna test some more softwares like these one.
Yes, I know that Cavena Tempo and SoftNI Subtitler Suite are very professional ones too.
But they are very expensive to get.
And Lemony - for it's price - can produce similar results, instead using such expensive programs.
---> http://www.cavena.se/Subtitle-preparation/Tempo-subtitle-preparation-system/ ( very good and very expensive too )
---> http://www.softni.com/subtitler.html ( the same )
I really wanna know about the "weak and strong" points that people can find in these program before I buy it. :P
Particularlly, I think his video engine is more stable ( here, in my PC and needs) that many others that I've tested before.
Yes, for "serious" subtitling purposes, I guess tools such Lemony can produce subtitles for using in commercial videos, dvd's, etc.
Do you have tested before? Everything is OK with Lemony in your tests?
Good results? Any Bugs?
PS: I edit the title, ok? LOL
Thanks.
Best regards.Last edited by devilcoelhodog; 11th Mar 2012 at 12:17.
