I am trying to convert some saved Real media files (.rm) to .mpgs to view in Quicktime. I have Cleaner 5.1, and when I try to convert using that program, I get a bunch of errors. Cleaner can't (or won't) even open the .rm file. I know they're good files because they open in Real player...I just hate Real player.

Can anyone give me any advice on this? I use an iMac G3, 400 MHz, 512 MB RAM, OS 9.2.2.

    Thanks,
    Michael

  2. HI

I have a PC , however have been trying the same thing for a while . I tried programs such as EO Video and Tinra , but no joy. Anyway I do not know if this would cross over to a MAC , but found the best way was the screen capture program method. WIth an Athlon 1.1ghz I can capture 25 frames per second at 352x288 with sound in sync. I find that if u watch the realmedia clip in 100% size (not full screen) you can eliminate a few of the blocks. You may have a screen capture program out for the MAC , I used Hypercam for the PC.

    Anyway best of luck
