Hey guys, I been following sefy's guide to dvd ripping, everything goes well, I rip the vob files with smart ripper, then dvd2avi and create me a d2v and a wave file, but when I go into TMPG and start encoding it goes alright, but after a while, in the middle of encoding, it freez's up on me, it aint at a certain spot or anything, just freeze's at random spots sometimes 14% sometimes 40% etc, but it never ends up finishing, then I have to reboot my pc. I tried numerous times to encode the d2v file and wave when I went to bed, and froze overnight. If anybody could help me I would greatly appreciate it!!!!!

I don't know if this will fix your problem, but if you keep having lockups it's worth the try I think, delete your entire TMPGEnc folder, and re-download the Latest TMPGEnc and VFAPI packages from the web, unzip them to where you had your TMPGEnc installed before, then get DVD2AVI and unzip it also in the TMPGEnc folder, then try re-encoding, and let us know if it worked.
