I'm not sure if it's just me or what. But i've tried like 5 convertors and i can't seem to get this file converted to a mpg. Can someone try it out and if successful, tell me how to convert this flv to a mpg?

  2. to get to avi I do this

    1. I installed ffdshow with only VFW FLV1 support (no need other formats)
    2. I extract the flv to avi+mp3 with flvextract

    to convert to mpeg
open the avi in any encoder and convert the mp3 to wav (may need resampling to 44100 hz ou 48000 hz)

I just got it to work with Total Video Convertor. I actually really like the interface on this application. Very user-friendly and simple to utilize. woo-hoo!

There are some flv files that Total Video Convertor will not convert so I suggest you also take a look at SUPER (Simplified Universal Player Encoder & Renderer).

It will give you an option in the event TVC fails.
