    This tutorial?: https://forum.videohelp.com/topic289872.html

You can get sample RMVB clips from: http://homevideo.about.com/library/blPointPleasantVideoClips102505a.htm if you need a clean clip with no errors for testing.

You can use MediaInfo to read the fps of a rmvb file, but you don't need that info to do the conversion. The script sets the fps. The RMVB I used, for example was shown as 24fps by MediaInfo.) Just make sure you put the full path of your video including the name into the script. For my sample video, the script read:
    DirectShowSource("C:\Documents and Settings\MERIDIAN\Desktop\pointpleasant_overview_h i.rmvb", fps=29.97, convertfps=true)
I right clicked on the clip and chose 'Properties', then copy and pasted the 'Location' and the video name to notepad, along with the rest of the script, then saved it with a .avs extension. I opened that in VirtualDub Mod with no problem and converted to Xvid. I also converted the audio to MP3 with Lame MP3.

BTW, sandman423, you can use 'edit' to clean up your original post if you have duplicated lines. This post of mine has been edited about 4 times so far. The reason you get that 'The topic or post you requested does not exist' is because the post was deleted.
