I've just built a new PC and now can't capture segmented video in VDub.
I'm using a Mavel G400 as my capture card.
VDub will capture OK in compatability (AVICap) mode but is then limited to producing a 4Gb file.
If I try a multisegmnet capture using VDubs regular capture mode using I get the message:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Warning: No frames captured.
Make sure your capture card is functioning correctly and that a valid video source is connected. You might also try turning off overlay, reducing the image size, or reducing the image to 24 or 16-bit."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As far as I can tell, all my settings as as they were before!
Thanks for any halp you can offer

Best you select the CODEC of your own capture-device. (for compression, you must select "No recompression"
.
If your card doesn't have its own CODEC (then you proberly have a low cost capture device), use HUFYUV if the output of yout cap-device is YUH (or something like this) or MJPeG if the output is RGB(A).
Don't select to high quality if you don't have a fast system. It will lead in too many dropped frames.
