  1. WHY WONT THIS DVD PLAYER PLAY ANY VCDS!?!??!?! if you have this thing and have gotten vcsd to work on it please let me know, what program, what cdrw you used ANYTHING! i am about 2 seconds away from tossing this piece of shit into traffic

  3. It plays VCD's but they must be recorded on to CDRW.

    CDR's won't work, even for audio disks.

  4. dude, i have burned them on cdrw's endless times. I have used nero easy cd creator, easy vcd, and have tried them on 3 different brand cdrw's i need to know specifics, like what brands and what program to use? is it burnt as standard compliant? do i have to finalize cd. that kind of stuff. thanks

  6. I have gotten CD-R to work on the 5215P before.
    Theres a brand of CD-R called "Princo" and for some reason DVD players (such as some Sonys) that only read CD-RWs can play them.
