NVE: No Menu Option When Using DVD-RW

I've been burning 'Editable DVD's' to DVD+RW with no problem using NVE, giving me a screen to layout the menu. I've popped a DVD-RW into the drive but NVE skips the screen(s) that relate to the menu. Instead, it goes from where I select files from my harddrive, almost straight to the 'Burn' screen. I then tested it by choosing 'DVD' rather than 'Editable DVD' and the menu options became available. Does anyone know why this would be?

Thanks, that's the "feature" I was looking for. My NVE always crashes on the preview page when I use fades.

There is a difference between DVD+VR and DVD-VR (Nero's Editable DVD) . With DVD-VR there is no menu, but a playlist can be created. Also note that with -VR the audio cannot be altered/changed as with +VR. Stick with your +RWs for maximum flexibility.
