OK, I hope I'm in the right forum here. I have a question about DivX'es that dont behave very well on my AMD k6-2 @ 400 MHz + 64 (!) Mb RAM. They are around one CD (700 Mb) big, and when i play them, i hear the sound and i see the video. The sound sounds OK; but the video appears in slowmotion so it directly becomes out-of-sync with the sound, ofcourse. What is the reason for this? I am trying to learn the priinciples of digital video so this is only one of the many subjects i have questions about. I tried taking one part of that video into VirtualDub, i marked a little tiny bit and saved and recompressed it with divX. I tried a low bitrate (around 600k i think) coz i thougt that would help. But the problem was the same on that short bit of video. I should mention that i am able to see many other divX-videos, even those that are one CD of length.
Hope someone has some tips.
all the best / Jacob F
