    i am working with a pal camera, here in the us, and i have edited my movie in fcp and imovie. what do i need to do to make my material work on us dvd players?

    Probably nothing. Most DVD players will play both nowadays.
    Go off and rule the universe from beyond the grave. Or check into a psycho ward, whichever comes first, eh?

    Let's rephrase that, "Most PAL players will play NTSC discs, but very few NTSC players will play PAL discs."


    You will need to convert your PAL video to NTSC video by 1) changing the framerate and 2) changing the resolution. This can get messy if your source video is interlaced.

    I often convert PAL movies to NTSC using ffmpeg.
