  1. i tried to encode a dvd2avi project with tmgg (using latest version 12h). I used 3 different films so i think there is no problem with the dvd2avi project. but tmpg stops encoding after 2 or 3 hours and my pc is down. there is no error message and i disabled the screensaver and powermanagement.
i tried to encode several films for 3 times but it always stops.
    Heeeeeeeeeeeeeelp!
I´m using win98se on a 950athlon with 256mb ram so there are no speed problems i think, before i used win se and it fits.

  2. I'm having the same problem. I have been encoding for a few weeks just fine. Now out of no where it locks up after awhile never in the same place. My power settings are all off. I have tried a few more things and will reply if it works. It sure is a long process to see if it works !!!!

  3. Check your CPU temperature. That was the problem on my computer. The heat sink and fan were not doing a good enough job keeping the CPU temperature down.
