Hi all,
I have recently bought an 8Gb USB key / flash drive. I want to be able to produce a home-made DVD file structure (i.e. VIDEO_TS folder with VOBs, IFOs & BUPs) and play them back from the USB key - but using an application that's on that key.
That is, I don't want to have to rely on a software DVD player on a PC, or have to install one on a PC. Freeware to put on the USB key is preferred, funnily enough...
Any suggestions?
Cheers.

Thanks guys. Will either or both have full DVD playback functionality - i.e. first play item, menus, highlighted buttons, chapters etc.?
I essentially want a portable version of something like PowerDVD or WinDVD - does that exist?
I can't try either because I don't have access to my home PC for a few days (and work is locked down), and I can't see anything on their write up that answers my question.

Both support menus, highlighted buttons, chapters and subtitles - I wouldn't know about first play item since I am at work and I have nothing here to test with. (I don't have time enough to create anything right now either).
Just drag and drop the VIDEO_TS folder in the application you choose.
I had to use the mouse to navigate the menu in MediaPlayerClassic while VLC supported both arrow keys and mouse.
You can check for other portable players here, maybe you can find something else that suits your need better. In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move. -
@ träskmannen: Excellent! Thank you - I'll check 'em out.
