If many of the mobos out there come with one pcix16 slot, what would you put there....your graphics card or your video/capture card? I am thinking of getting one of each and wasn't sure which would go there or if for some reason I needed 2x16. Probably a dumb newbie question so sorry.

It would depend on which cards you buy obviously. Most capture cards, like the Haupage cards (PVR150/250) are still PCI cards. If your choice of a standalone capture card is a PCIE card, then you would need a dual slot MB.
